Annual Parent & Student Rights Notification and Standards of Behavior Handbook
This annual handbook outlines important rights, responsibilities, and expectations for students and families. It includes required legal notifications, district policies, and behavior standards that apply to all students. Topics covered include attendance, discipline, non-discrimination policies, privacy rights, health and safety regulations, and procedures for resolving concerns. Families are encouraged to review the handbook each year to stay informed and ensure a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment for all.
School Uniform
Parents and students, please be aware that Ethel Phillips continues to be a school uniform school. During these difficult times in which schools face closures and other financial struggles, it is important that you are also part of enforcing our rules. First, remember that students and parents were asked to complete surveys regarding school uniforms at the end of the school year.
During this survey the majority of people that voted to voice their opinion, it was decided that we continue to participate in the use of school uniforms. Therefore, the community wants the school to continue to support the school uniform policy and the staff at Ethe Phillips will continue to enforce yet support those students not in uniform.
